Author's Notes: Here's a lovely piece of fluff that is if anything a sequel to a different fluff piece I wrote a while ago called Envy You? Granted it's a well-worn set up, but it's fluff, so please forgive. At least it's mercifully short, ne?

"Ready Cat?" Duo said with a smile, as he grabbed the car keys.
"You still haven't told me where we're going," Quatre reminded Duo.
"Just to the movies, I told you," Duo replied, now grabbing a jacket.
"Yes, but which movie?" Quatre asked.
"It will be a comedy don't worry."
"You're going to the movies?" Wufei asked as he made a hasty retreat out of one of the other rooms.
"Yes, but Duo won't tell me which one," Quatre complained.
"Mind if I join you?" Wufei said quickly grabbing his coat and following the two teenagers.
Duo frowned. "Why?"
"I don't want to be left alone in the house with the lovebirds," Wufei said with a shudder. They are even worse when they think they are alone. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a room and seen them..."
Duo's curiosity was up. "Seen them doing what?"
"Never mind. I'm coming with you that's all." Wufei said as he rushed outside and sat in the passenger side of Duo's car.
Duo and Quatre stared at each other for a moment before shrugging and getting into the car as well.
"Duo, I can't believe you brought me to a horror movie. I hate those," Quatre bemoaned. "I thought you said it was going to be a comedy."
"Well, it IS a comedy! Don't you find it funny when folks get hacked and mangled?" Duo smiled.
Wufei walked over with a large bucket of popcorn and motioned for Duo to move over a seat so he could sit between the two boys. Both boys glared at him briefly.
"What? You expect me to eat this popcorn by myself. Do you KNOW how much this bucket cost?" Wufei huffed.
"Too much," Duo replied, but shoved his hand in to get a fistful.
As the film started with a lone teenage girl walking home alone from a party, Duo began his running commentary. "I couldn't get any at the party. I'm gonna be victim number one," he said in a sing-song voice.
Quatre turned to stare at him. "Shush Duo, no one likes people who talk in movies," he said before turning back to the screen to see the teenage girl's head get decapitated. "OH ALLAH!" he screamed quickly turning his head away.
Wufei and Duo laughed as the scene played out.
"That looked so fake, the dummy was two centimeters taller and five kilograms heavier," Wufei snickered.
"Oh I know. I LOVE these movies!" Duo agreed.
While the movie played on, Duo and Wufei would laugh or cheer the gruesome parts while Quatre kept his head turned.
"Quatre, it's all fake. You've see worse everyday, this shouldn't bother you at all," Wufei whispered to him.
Quatre turned to glare at Wufei. "I may see it everyday but it doesn't mean I want to watch it on a big screen with THX!"
Wufei shrugged and offered to bring back sodas. As he left, Duo slid back to the seat next to Quatre.
"I'm sorry. I know you hate these kind of movies," Duo said.
"Then why did we come here?"
Duo leaned in close to Quatre's ear. "Because if it were just the two of us, you would be practically sitting in my lap, and I would have found something to distract you from the horror," he said in a low seductive voice.
Although the theater was dark, Duo was sure Quatre was blushing. Quatre turned to look up at the screen in time to see the intestines fall out of the next victim. "Ah!" he screamed as he quickly nestled his face into Duo's chest. Duo smiled. "See what I mean?" He lifted Quatre's head from his chest and kissed him.
Quatre melted in the kiss. As per Duo's suggestion, he did want to climb in the other boy's lap to be even closer than they were now. But certain things factored into him not doing it. One they were in a public place and two ...
"Gods! Not you two also!" groaned Wufei as he glared at them holding three sodas. "What is wrong with you people? Don't you know there's a war on?"
People shushing Wufei and telling him to sit down forced him to sit next to Duo and Quatre.
"Wufei," Quatre began. "I'm sorry. If it's any consolation, this is our first date. We got tired of waiting for Heero and Trowa to see that we cared about them. We just wanted ..."
"THIS is your first date? Why did you let me tag along?" Wufei asked, looking embarrassed.
"Well you kind of insisted," Duo said. "You know I would have told you where to go, but I figured Quatre wouldn't want me to do that."
Quatre turned to smile to Duo. "Really? You were being polite for me?"
"Well, hell yeah," Duo laughed.
"I should go then," Wufei said as he got up to leave.
"Wufei! Don't be ridiculous! Stay please," Quatre said. "Right Duo?"
"Yeah, you're here and you're fun... so stay. We might drop you off somewhere else afterwards though," Duo said, trying to duck the flying elbow Quatre was trying to throw at him.
"Okay, if you insist," Wufei huffed turning back to the screen to see the knife-wielding psycho chasing a girl through a house. "I bet she trips before she gets to the corridor."
"Nah, she'll make it to the corridor. She'll just trip as she gets to the front door," Duo supplied.
"You two are just ... AHHH!" Quatre screamed hiding his face in Duo's shoulder.
The girl tripped two feet from the front door. The psycho raised his knife.
"I win!" Duo crowed, hugged Quatre and giggling at Wufei.
"No, I predict a gunshot," Wufei offered.
A shot ran out hitting the psycho.
"Ha! I win!" Wufei boasted.
"Gods, someone end this film soon," Quatre mumbled as he kept his face averted.
